How to Get the Most out of the 2013 F1 Race in Austin (November 15-17)

Hey, F1 – welcome back to Austin!

The Formula 1 World Championship returns to Austin, Texas for the second time from November 15-17, 2013. The fabulous Circuit of the Americas has now hosted a series of other world-class races at the facility, which was purpose-built for F1. 2013 is also a year with only one Formula 1 race in the USA – next year we may see New Jersey on the schedule, but this year it’s all about AUSTIN!

So – have you secured your race tickets, hotel, and nightlife access? Here’s how to start:

Hospitality Packages

Possibly the fastest and easiest way to take care of your hotel, ground transportation, race tickets, and on-track entertainment is by purchasing a hospitality package.  Guests can choose their seat based on from which Turn they would like to sit and view the race. As the Circuit of the Americas has been praised for having great visibility from around the track, almost any of the Turn options are great.

Events + Parties

Let’s talk nightlife! Formula 1 is famous for its glamorous, pop-up night clubs that only appear in certain cities and only during F1. Austin is lucky to host events that are seen in Monaco, Abu Dhabi, and Singapore. Your entry will have you mingling with the movers and shakers in a truly world-class atmosphere. At some events, you can party with Formula 1 drivers, team members, and their entourages. Many events have celebrity appearances, amazing bottle service and hostesses, and top-notch DJs performing. Hotels

There are two major choices you can make when booking your hotel – either book one in the city or in a surrounding town. Hotels in downtown Austin have better access to shuttles, breakfast & dinner, clubs, bars, shopping, and that hopping Austin feel. Accommodations in surrounding towns such as Kyle, Buda, San Marcos, and Round Rock are usually more affordable and you won’t have to deal with as much traffic. Helicopter Shuttles

Who wouldn’t want to arrive at the Circuit of the Americas by helicopter? To leave from a private airport, view the amazing race track from above, then land for a day of world-class racing is a great bonus for your F1 weekend.
